Mystery Clip? Bravo 3 Sterndrive

Hi Guys,
Hope somebody can help. I was servicing my drive when I noticed one half of plastic clip at the bottom of the gimbal housing. I could not visually identify where it had come from. After looking up the parts manual online it is Part Number : 54-818557. The schematics has no indication where it goes or its function. I am hoping it's not a very important part as I would dread having to dismantle half the drive to install a new one. I have included the schematic and picture of the new part and the part I found.

It clips the speedometer tube and the raw water tube together. Not real important but good to have in place. Goes in about the middle

I'd say just don't clinch the cable zip tie to tight to where the cable zip tie would impede the 2 water flows or start to cut into the water hoses in someway and that the sharp ends doesn't make contact with any of the rubber bellows and you ought to be okay until you find a new one someday.
