Hi boating community ! I have lurked from afar for too long! And have read all posts I could find pertaining to this. Ive got a 96 ocean runner that has warped plastic carbs. The bowls arent the only.sealing issue! The side gaskets are warped too! Is it okay to double gasket ? Got oem rebuild kit x6 and its got everything but obviously didnt account for warping. Im gonna sand the bowls but wonder what options I have for the rest. Please help!

You can replace the bowls. They are $20-$25 each. The side covers are metal. Is it those that have warped? or did the top part of the carbs warp as well?

Also, there may be carb kits sold for your motor, where the side gaskets do not fit the throttle bodies.

The bowls have been NLA for this motor for a while.

Found a place that had a few in stock for $100 each.

Ended you buy a full set of carbs with throttle bodies off a blown motor for $250

Some of the 1996 200HP model do have bowls available at amazon. Not sure what model motor you have.

You might look for complete carbs there as well.

Post a pic of carbs as have only seen one or two of the plastic carbs warped but never all 6 on the same motor and side plate too. Something wrong here...
