4.3 mercruiser Intermittent alarm when coming off plane

I have a 2008 4.3 MerCruiser that is sounding an Intermittent alarm when I am coming off plane and sometimes if I am pulling a skier out of the water.

Any suggestions?

I believe there’s only three things to trip the alarm

lower drive lube reservoir level
engine temp Overheat
low oil pressure

based on attitude changes you mention that trigger it my money is on outdrive lube being low or sensor is going bad.

I have replaced the Impeller and filled back up the gear lube and reservoir starting to think it might be a faulty alarm.

heat stays below 190

190 is hot for a 160 degrees thermostat mine never gets above 170-175

may be false alarm you can test the lube by disconnecting alarm wires then do drive it such that it would trip the alarm, same with other alarms

Serial number is 1a300440 Started overheating the other day when I was warming it up with the muffs
