Your drive has a leak, pull it and have a look

Are you sure it's gear oil and not the fluid used to raise and lower the TnT cylinders?

I wouldn't do that, I would replace the line. Might be able to get away with just removing the bell housing pins to let it be moved enough to replace.

That said if its been a while since bellows was replaced maybe just knock it all out now

Bellows gimbal bearing was just changed last week right now I got a blocked off and I’ll check the fluid once a week because I’m not pulling a drive off again all the reservoir is for is just to make sure the outdrive stays full right I’ve never had one with the reservoir so I don’t know

For the most part yes, but also when pressure increases due to heat, it keeps the lube in the drive. If reservoir gets low it will sound the alarm unless disconnected

OK yes I thought of that so I’m thinking they could put a hole in it when I put the Bellows and so I cut it and I put a barbed fitting it into little clamps for a temporary fix I feel the reservoir up and we’ll see what happens tomorrow but so far no leaks and clamps are even close to no other BellowOK yes I thought of that so I’m thinking they cut put a hole in it when I put the Bellows in so I cut it and I put a Barb sitting in it and two little clamps for a temporary fix I filled the reservoir up and we’ll see what happens tomorrow but so far no leaks and the clamps aren’t even close to no other Bellow ,. I don’t understand why the marina didn’t replace that hose well they had it all apart I tried calling him back but no answer so I know we’re not to go now I love this site so much great information on it

They only do what you ask and if something else happens that you need more work, well they make more money

The bellows kit comes with that hose. Whenever we do the kit, that hose is installed. There are shops the sell individual peices and parts as a way to make more money.

Well I put the barb fitting in it seems to work pretty good the lube is pretty black so after this weekend I’m probably gonna drain it and I wanna use high-performance lube put it all back together this winter when I get it winterized and I pull the hard drive off I’ll replace it then hopefully it’ll last that long thanks for the advice
