My engine began loosing power after about 5 minutes. We decided it was a fuel line problem. Well I replace the Fuel pump and had the carb rebuilt. We found yellow crystals in the fuel filter and Carb. I believe this means water some how got into the system. I have a full 20 gal. of gas in the tank and no place to drain it to. If I add heat to the tank will this break down the crystals I think are in the tank? I don't want this summer to be a loss for boating this year HELP.

I don't know of any way to remove crud in your fuel except to pump it out and flush the tank. I get it that is not convenient. But I don't know of anything that will break down fuel that is already broken down.

Ayuh,..... Welcome Aboard,...... If there's any water, it's at the very bottom of the tank,......

Ya only gotta pull, 'n dispose of the water, not the gas,......
Pull a couple of gallons, let it settle, 'n reclaim the gas off the top,.....
