It would be a better idea to wear them.

Or is there someone you are trying to impress with a spiffy clean pfd?

I don't think I would. They are designed to get wet, so I'm not sure what you would gain...

I can see that feeling nasty on the skin. dry them when done and you should get a long service life. mine get a gunk in the pool every now and then when I shock the pool. that helps

Are you trying to protect them from getting scotch spilled on them?

mainly sun fading more then anything but i had a half a can left over from doing my Bimini top thought what the hell lol, i didn't but thought it might help the sun fading some. didn't spend alot on them so yea just wanted to see what others thought on the subject...but spilling scotch on them LearDriver would suck!! atleast for the scotch!!
