Garyalden , Welcome to iboats....Just letting you know we went ahead and created a new topic of your own for you vs bringing up archives.

I'm sure you know this already... But just as a quick reminder, be sure to put a fuse back in as soon as possible as just adding a jumper wire in place isn't the safest along with it won't help give you a true indication of the issue becoming resolved when it does become repaired at some point.

What engine and stern drive model is in your boat?

the fuse blew for reason, you need to find out why. High resistance or a short circuit

I have a 2007 maximum 1800. ...

Hello and :welcome: aboard...

I have a Toyota 100 series Landcruiser, care to guess what engine I have in it?

The make, year and model of the hull are completely irrelevant to the engine. Unlike car manufacturers, boat manufacturers don't make the engines for their boats. A Ford car will have a Ford engine, a Chrysler car will have a Chrysler engine. If a boat builder is building an inboard powered boat, he'll buy the engine from Mercruiser or Volvo Penta (who actually buy the base engine from GM, but that's a whole nother story)... If the boat's designed for an outboard, he'll get to choose from about 8 engine manufacturers.

So, please. Engine, year, model and serial number. We couldn't care less about the boat itself. It could be a canoe for all we care....

Cheers.
Chris....
