I recently purchased a boat with a 1991 Evinrude Intruder 150 engine. The motor will start up, but only stays on for 5-15 seconds. When I took the motor cover off, I noticed some fuel coming from one of the inlets. I can replicate the problem when I pump fuel into the system. The attached video shows the problem.

Has anyone had this problem? If so, do I need to replace the entire fuel inlet (http://www.marineengine.com/newparts/part_details.php?pnum=OMC0433364&pass_title=0433364+:), or just an o-ring? Or is there another fix?

Thanks so much!

Yup, looks like the whole line needs replaced. I think those joints are fused, glued or welded plastic.

Thanks for the reply. I read elsewhere that perhaps Epoxy would tighten it up. Thoughts?

Don't cheap out on fire safety fuel parts that are manufacturer specific/not generic/not subsitutable.. Order the replacement part and get it fixed 100%.
