The motor has been running great. Turned the key today and nothing. It tried to turn over. Tried a second time and nothing, dead. I had the battery checked, twice and here is plenty of power. The battery is only 2 months old. Trim works. What do I look at next? Starter?

I know you said that it tried to turn over and then nothing. It's a long shot, but check to make sure your tether for the kill switch did not come off after you tried it the first time. I'm only suggesting this because it happened to me, and it took me a long time in the middle of the lake to discover it.

The kill switch has nothing to do with cranking it over.----It stops SPARK and the motor will not start.

Yes, I remember now when my tether came off of the kill switch, my engine kept cranking and cranking until I discovered the switch was activated. Thanks!

Sandpaper all wire contacts, including the battery -- should be bright, with no corrosion. Can test the starter by using jumper cables from your car or truck -- positive to post on side of starter, negative to starter mount.
