Engine Oil Leak Mericruiser 4.3

Hello Fellow Boaters,

Asking for some help, my 2013 Chaparral with 4.3 engine starting leaking oil from the rear seal. The mechanic diagnosed the problem and said rear oil seal plus the housing needs replaced but Mercury on Backorder for 2 months.

Mercury-Mercruiser 804910001 RETAINER.

Does anyone have any knowledge of what this crosses to on a Chevy Engine so I can try to get one from the Chevy dealer, this year boating has been shot but that okay because lot more happening in the world that is important than this issue.

Any help would be greatly appreciated on a cross reference number, thank you for your time and I wish everyone safe boating.

I'm able to find it on the web but have not called to verify its there.

Went to GM parts trying to find the part and some how I'm not finding one. I know GM makes the part but just not looking in the right place Maybe Scott Danforth can find it

Maybe eBay . . . many of the marine places sell through there and you may just find someone that has a new one in stock.

Labor is going to be a killer
