Hi- Can anyone share an image of their shift cable, and throttle for a Mercruiser 5.0 MAG MPI. In a rush to rebuild the engine, I did not document the process of installing them,

I looked around, but couldnt find anything related to a MPI 350 inboard.

Pure inboard. I got someone I know to send me an image of their engine, and was able to get the upper shift cable attached. Need to work on lower shift cable.

Does anyone know if the engine would start without the shift cable been attached ? I cant seem to get the engine start without manually controlling the throttle cable. I dont know if it has anything to do with the shift cable not been attached.
