I've got something going on where my engine runs great just after priming then gets sputtery after 10 minutes or so. Also when I squeeze the bulb there's this hissing sound inside the tank I'm unsure of. ? Takes about 15 squeezes to get it firm before starting. Fuel tank aluminum about 15 gallons.

I guess the best place to start is a new fuel line. The oem complete assembly is about $60. Should I go back with oem which is the gray line or is there a better quality one? Or should I just make one from fuel line?

Wallyworld sells the OEM for about 30 bucks. When you remove your old one, cut it (at the engine connector) and the bulb open. If you find little tan particles, get yourself a new engine fuel filter also....if it has one. Cut it open and you'll surely find some chips there too.

Never seen anything but sea/choice or other aftermarket at walmart.

You want a soft pliable rubberlike primer bulb, not a stiff plastic one.

Walmart in Greenville, Tx. is where I bought my OEM for the listed price last year for my recently purchased 2002 rig.
