Ready to reassemble my engine Head, found blown head gasket, bent push rod, so because of the pandemic I was able to find a real mechanic to do the job. Boat has been laid up for two years.
he called and asked me to find out the torque and order to do. This engine seems out of date, tried to get the manual from Merc and serial not found.
Help please.

the blown head gasket is most likely from an over-heat. make sure you at a minimum change the raw water pump and pressure test the heat exchanger.

the bent push rod is most likely from an exhaust elbow or gasket leak allowing water to rust your valves and cause a sticking valve.
