Hey guys,
I have an 83 johnson 35 on a 13 whaler. It had sat for a while and had low hours but I finally got it together and running. After waterpump, fuel pump, plugs, wires, powerpack finally got it in the water. It ran great at the lake and we ran around slow and wot and no problems but after pulling into a cove to a slow idle it died and wouldn't start.
Compression in both cylinders cold is around 128psi.
Has spark on both plugs, and they come out wet. It pops out the exhaust a bit once in a while when cranking. I have coilpacks ordered but don't think that's problem because it does spark but figured it can't hurt. Ideas?
Thanks,
Bob
