Hi all, first time poster and boat owner. (Try to be gentle lol)
So long story short, I've owned my Carrera for about a year now. My buddy replaced the stock throttle lever with a Hardin Marine Billet Stiletto Side Mount Shift / Throttle Control. (https://www.hardin-marine.com/p-744...iletto-side-mount-shift-throttle-control.aspx) It was installed with some struggle and the boat is finally back together.
However, now the engine wont start. With the safety strap in, the engine tries turning over. With the engine strap out there's not attempt to turn over. My questions is, will the engine still try and turn over (starter ignite) with the neutral safety switch not engaged?
