New to me motor, and taking a 125 motor and mounting on the 140 leg
Drained the lube and it looks good. Want to replace the water pump and anything else that would be advised.

I'm guessing there is no need to remove the gear housing cover, unless something is seen when pump is removed?

Parts Diagram list a drive shaft seal and crankshaft seal. My drive shaft has only a soft rubber sleeve on the splines which can be removed easy

Where the motor attaches to the leg there is a thick runner seal where the water tube attaches when motor is bolted down. I'm unable to find this part in the parts breakdown.

That part is F84342 seal inlet water line upper and seams N/A.
Check with Franz Marine, he might have it.

Try eBay ??
Just looked and they have a few listed.
The chances of you breaking the 2 screws holding the seal in place is really good. Be real careful.
Or, just build up the seal with a bit of silicone(make your own seal) don't need a lot.
The pump housing isn't real bad.
If yu want to fill in the holes? MarineTex and a sanding wheel will fill in the holes.
But I've used way worse than what you show.
