Screeching/grinding sound from carburetor?

It's a Volvo Penta 3.0L

The boat was running fantastic in the last few days. I had been keeping it below 4,000 RPM and really trying to be easy on it. The temp gauge was steady at 150-160, and the oil pressure was steady at 40 when running.

Yesterday, this screeching/grinding sound started and you can hear that in the video.

And I noticed that the oil pressure is down to 20-30, and it seems like the engine is heating up to 150 much faster.

So I'm wondering if more engine cleaner will fix this or if it's a more serious problem.

Hopefully the video is posted now and you can actually hear the noise coming from the engine.

There's this Quicksilver Quickleen that someone recommended to me but I can't find it anywhere.

Another option that I've found is the Sea Foam Motor Treatment

Can't see or hear the video but I'm with Bondo, belts, pulleys, water pump, seawater pump maybe fuel pump.

Which water pump, the impeller (rubber) or the circulating pump (automotive style for marine use). When the bearings in those fail they can make noise like that. Also check the alternator and the p/s pump if it has p/s. Same for any idler pulley or tensioner pulley. All have sealed bearings that can and will wear out.

I've had more problems with power steering pumps than anything else. Both those pumps can make make noises so like Lou said check them both and just because it's new doesn't mean it's good
