Tahoe Q5i 4.3L Mercruiser will not turn on

2015 Tahoe Q5i with Mercruiser 4.3L will not turn on. Turn the key and nothing happens. However, the trim, blower, bilge, horn, etc… work fine. Finally found several wires with plugs behind throttle body that were zip tied and one had 15A fuse that was blown. Everything started working. The only other issue was that the fuel pump would run with power turned off and engine would not cutoff. Turns out a diode was also blown and power was back feeding. Replaced the diode plug ($25) and resolved that issue.

Ayuh,..... Welcome Aboard,...... Start with the battery cables,.... Remove 'em, clean the ends to shiny metal Clean, 'n reinstall 'em,....
Both ends of both cables,.....

I grease 'em after, to stop any corrosion from formin',....
