Hello all! I am reaching out for some specific information on my 22' Starcraft . I have removed the i/o and closed up the lower unit opening. I have an aluminum offshore bracket and a 2000 DFI Mercury 150 Saltwater Series 2 stroke ready to go. My question is, has anyone completed this type of conversion and can the transom support the weight of this out board? I have owned a few 20' Bayrunners with 150's on them. Not much more support but they are welded. I know from past threads that there are a lot of Starcraft owners on this forum so an feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Ayuh,..... Welcome Aboard,...... If there is (0) Zero rot in the transom,....
Yes, it'll be just fine,.....

Thanks Bondo, Super clean transom. I can't find any info on the outboard style 22 foot outboard series of my boat. I know a guy with one but he got it without an outboard on it. I wonder if structurally it can handle a 150 hp 2 stroke? 2000 saltwater series Optimax.
