In the fall, I hit something in the river that put a hole in the lower drive unit. Service center says the entire outdrive needs to be replaced due to water intrusion. The new outdrive has been on order since Sept. 2021 with no estimated delivery on site. My question, is does this sound correct? Can only the lower unit be replaced? Any good rebuilt dealers out there? It is getting closer and closer to boating season and I'm getting concerned...
