Gimbal Ring Replacement

I have a 2004 Sea Ray 185 with an alpha 1 gen 2. I’m about to replace the gimbal ring but have realized the used gimbal ring I bought is design 1 which has zerk fittings to grease the hinge pins. The broken gimbal ring I’m replacing is design 2 which has permalube bushings. Is anyone aware if these are compatible?

I'd guess they are compatible, very little change to the gen 2 design over the years

I would measure the square hole at the top, swivel pin hole at the bottom and pin holes on the sides to verify the dimensions are the same

The hinge pins didn't change, so the rings should be 'the same'.
