Hi there everyone,
Im so glad to see, that this site is still active.
Hopefully, someone out there can help me out.
I am wanting to change the impeller on my Mercruiser #46 - 72774 raw water pump, and can not find anything Listed for it, as this pump has been discontinued.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
I just got back into Ski Boats and Bare Footing, after being away from it for 30 plus years, and am soooo Happy that I did.
What with COVID stopping us from Travelling, we rediscovered the Love of my Life, and that is Bare Footing and Skiing again, after thinking that I was done, with boats and Footing.

So here is the issue.
I have a Mercrusier raw water pump on my 350, and am wanting to change the impeller in it, as it has not been done for the past 2 years....I bought the boat 2 years ago, when Covid hit us all.
The Model Number is a Mercruisier 46-72774 pump.....and I just can not find anything Listed for it, as that specific pump, has been discontinued.
Grrrrrrrrrr again!
Im guessing, that from what I read, that Jabsco has a replacement pump for my Pump, if I was needing to replace the entire thing ( at a Cost of $1,200! OUCH) but....all I am needing is a $50 replacement Impeller.
Id Love you forever, if someone out there, can tell me, what Impeller I need for my Mercruiser 46-72774 Pump?
There has to be someone out there, with an Older Tournament Boat, who has the exact same water pump as I do, who can tell me....what Impeller to buy?
I would think, that most of the Older 351's and most 350's would run, the same size of Impeller in their pumps?
I am not even wanting to take it apart, until.....I have a New One on my Hand.....ready to go.
We leave in 3 weeks time, for 2 weeks of Footing and Skiing up at the Lake, and I was really wanting to put a New Impeller into her, before we go.
Im sure Hoping, that someone out there, can help me out....and tell me....what Impeller will replace mine.....Size?......Serial Number?......Who stocks them and sells them etc?
I'll buy or 3 of them, once I can track down the correct size.
I Love having another older Tournament Boat, but.....it seems tough to find replacement parts now, that our boats are much Older.....as we all are! LOL
I've been away from Footing for over 30 years now.....and its like I never ever left it!
Im now 67......( where did all of those years go too?) and I can still Fit into my Barefoot Company Barefoot suit...what are the chances of that? hahaha
