‘94 150 fast strike fuel pump part

Boat has been running very poorly recently. We were moving down the lake and we slowly lost all power and the boat wouldn’t start. It would crank over but it seemed like as soon as it wanted to kick on, the starter would disengage and the motor would not start.
(I’m new to this boat and have been doing a ton of reading here recently.)
At first I thought this issue was heat related. It’s 106° all day in Oklahoma right now and under the black cover it’s probably 120° or more, before it’s even started.
But I changed the fuel filter and put it in this weekend and started up just fine and while idling through my no wake cove to my dock, it died and never restarted.

After reading and reading and reading, I have discovered The little plastic 90 that leaves my fuel pump is cracked at the base, and when I turn the motor over it just blows oil basically into the air silencer and all over the motor.
2 of the 4 screws holding the fuel pump to the motor were almost completely backed out which likely led to vibration and the 90 being one of 3 anchor points then, broke.

I have two questions for those that have the time.
If this is happening and I’m not mixing oil with my fuel anymore, does my year motor not have a “no oil” alarm and just a “no oil” shut off? Which would be kicking the motor off as soon as it tried to start up when it turns over?

And my second question is about locating this part. This website has a big selection of parts that are all numbered y’all have seen it.
This particular plastic 90 I’m looking for is not labeled as it’s own part. The two little O rings on the end of it can be bought, but it’s kind of looking like I’ll have to buy the entire replacement fuel pump. The fuel pump end of the 90 kind of looks like it has been glued into place, and may not have been designed to be removed.

Not sure about the alarm but yes, you have to buy part number 2 which I assume is the entire pump unless you can figure out a way to make your own. Hard to swallow sometimes but that's life. Maybe you can find a used one.

Not sure of your model but I took a guess. Part number I got was 5007420 eBay has a used one and a new one for WAY less then normal parts places. What sucks is it looks like the elbow you need is just sitting there.

Do not buy the cheap Chinese one off of eBay unless you plan on using it as a pre mix pump. Ditto with the used one. The no oil flow sensor is in the pump, so if the pump is still moving o there will be no alarm.

Call me a cheater (for now) there seemed to be some kind of silicone peaking out from the bottom of that 90, so I just put a hose clamp around it for now. I turned the engine over a few times and it didn’t leak a single drop of oil. It’ll be a totally fine patch for just right now. I’m still having some trouble starting it, but I’ll just have to diagnose those through other topics.

Thank you guys for your recommendations.

Yes, after I posted those I read the new one was Chinese so I agree. What would be wrong with the used one? He could probably just steel the part off it.

That part is not coming out with out breaking something. That part gets broke because someone pulled the hose off of it.

Yes that and plastic fatigue. You don't think you can disassemble the whole thing and use the outer cover and the 90 degree fitting? Been awhile since I looked at a vro pump so I forget. Just looking for solutions for the poor guy

I was digging a little deeper and this came up with your part number. Not sure it yours but you should be able to tell better than I.

Should not be any oil at that fitting as that is fuel from VST. Your fix is dangerous!!! If you have oil the cap on oil tank is not venting and has pushed oil thru VRO pump into fuel system. You need a new VRO/OMS pump and oil cap/

Eh you may be thinking of a different part. The oil line very clearly hooks in directly below this 90. And the fuel line hooks in higher. For any oil to meet with the fuel it would basically HAVE to come through that 90.

I sure appreciate how much digging y’all have done. Strangely enough, these replacement parts always look like they have a stainless mounting bracket to fix it to the pump, but mine doesn’t have any mounting bracket holing it on, and doesn’t have anywhere to screw in the bracket were I to replace it. As though they found out they could make more money if they just made sure you had to buy the $500 part to fix that small 90. That guy probably has a corner office now.

Oh I think I did decide that it’s an oil/fuel mixture that was coming out of the 90, not only oil. It was just oily and because the fuel was evaporating and I was only left with oil laying in the air silencer, I just figured it was only oil.

Is your outboard running now with your bush fix?
