Does 1988 bayliner have a kill switch?

Can't find this info anywhere. I dont see any kill/safety switch anywhere. does it have one. I have no spark.

It would be on your shifter- My 1990 sea ray did not have one.

Do you have 12 v to positive side of coil when key is in run? If you have point it will be more like 9 v as it will use a resistor to make points live longer.

If you do have points when was last time they were serviced?

Check the throttle remotes. Usually one on there. But not always

Hold on. Just thinking on it now. My 1990 bayliner 2255 didn’t have a lanyard on the remotes. It was attached to a red toggle on the dash.
