hey everyone,

Just wondering if anyone knows the Gear shift shaft length? my dumb ass changed the gasket and didn't measure it before and now it doesn't go in reverse properly.

Are you planning to replace the Gear shift shaft of your 1979 Evinrude 55 hp 55975C?

i have the complete Gear shift shaft for your very model.

Where are you located? and do you have the linkage from the shift shaft to the cable? its hard to find these days
