Having to replace rear main oil seal and water cooled fuel pump in 2007 Tahoe Q7I sport fish. Engine is 4.3 MPI with Alpha 1 outdrive.
Question: Any Tips are appreciated on removing engine from such a small tight space.

Welcome to iboats

Pictures showing what you are facing would certainly help.

engine crane with extension boom and counterweight , strip as much of the motor as you feel comfortable to make it smaller and lighter.

i have a semi complete V8 engine on a frame that sits snug on my crane base to counter weight the boom extension.

TIP; move the trailer and boat rather than the crane when the motor is up in the air.
take a few bites IE; set the motor down on a solid area and get a better hang if you need too for that final lift out of the boat..
and dont under any circumstances work under the motor while its high in the air "" hulls can be fixed "" broken people cant.

Remove the outdrive first and maybe remove the risers and manifolds for access

Ayuh,..... Welcome Aboard,...... Pull the drive 1st,.....

Then remove enough "Boat" to get at the motor, 'n pull it,....

You may need a c-shapped lifting rig to lift the motor. If I recall, the Tahoe cap covers most of the motor

RMS oil leaks are rare.

looking on you tube that motor should come out reasonably easy , the hull has a recess to allow the motor to almost lift strait up.
with a bit of wiggling and spinning it should come up with a over head gantry without much disassembly.
