I have a Evenrude 48HP outboard, it start fine but as I put it in the water and put it in gear it stalls every time but start’s right back up. It doesn’t do this with the Muffs on it , any thoughts would be appreciated.
Model # of this motor ?-----How did it run last season for you.----Not making enuff power.------Do a compression test.----Post the numbers.---Possibly only running on 1 cylinder.----Do a spark check.----Check flywheel key.----Make sure carburetors are clean.---Check lower unit oil.
