Don't be afraid to buy a good factory service manual, well worth the cost and can make your motor more valuable when it is time to sell it. I find most of mine on Ebay or flea markets/ garage sales

Evinrude 25012 seems to be 1953-1954 & should mecanically very be close to its cousin rd15 or 16

there should be lots of similarities between them and the Johnson service manual AKA RED book bible should provide you with lots of info .

depending on the nature of what you need to fix the book should help sufficiently

if you visit aomci ask a member you may be able to get a copy via file sharing service. then just print it locally and have it spring bound for easy flat reading 400+ pages covers just about all you need. see ex:

No, NO----It was clearly stated at the back where the ball bearing is !!

Yup, obviously the cluster isnt in there but that where the bearing is located
