Stock Windshield Height?

Does anyone have a measurement for how high the stock windshield is straight up perpendicular to the dash?
I recently bought one from a different style boat and it's looking like I'm going to be at 24 inches straight up from the dash at the middle.
I'm just curious.

I found that the windshield and dash was too low on my SuperSport to stand and drive the boat comfortably, so I created a custom riser.

It's your boat - build it how you need.

Oops, sorry, yes, it's a 18 foot 1967 Holiday.
Here's the stock window it originally had but I forgot to get a measurement before I got rid of it.
It was difficult to get out on the bow, so I bought one with a center door.

Yeah, I'm just curious how much higher it's going to be from what it was stock.

It's 54" from the deck floor to the top edge of the windshield.
I'm just curious to see how much higher I am than a stock StarCraft 18 footer.

Could someone just measure from their boat floor to the top edge of the windshield?

I'm coming back around to this question again.
If was to estimate, I'd guess 18 inches.
I know... I should have measured mine while I still had it.
Could someone measure their 18 foot StarCraft windshield height straight up vertically from the dash?

Not the same boat, but my SS16 has a windshield height of 17 inches from top to console and 42 from deck to top of windshield. An extra 12 inches would probably let me actually sit behind a windshield vs looking over the top....

Perhaps another could check theirs ?
Preferably an 18 footer.
Just vertically straight up from the dash to the top of the windshield.

If you are building a boat, what other have doesn't matter. Built to you needs is best unless you are trying a perfect resto.

That said most all my boats, starvrwft or otherwise have been about chest high when standing and even with top of my head when sitting.

I'm trying to mock up (retrofit) an Alumaweld top I got for $100.
I want to find a balance between a reasonable windshield height and not so much that I get blown around by the wind.
I'm building it to be easily removed because most my fishing I do with no windshield.

It looks I'm going to get about 18 inches from the top of the dash, and 54 inches from the floor to the top of the glass.

If this is your boat, use the picture as a scale. Measure the window on the picture. Take that measurement down the side of the boat and note the start and end of the measurement. Go to the boat and measure that distance. It should get you close.
