How to set up an induction tachometer

Hi, anyone know of a tacho using a spark plus signal that can be set for 3 sparks per rev. I have a 3 cylinder Rotax 600cc with 158hp but cannot get a taco to suit it.

I have 3, digital inductive tachometers.
They all are configurable from 1 spark per 2 revolutions to 8 sparks per revolution

As a general rule, the signal is taken from just one spark plug wire, no matter how many there are.

It should be selectable for 2 or 4 stroke.

Hi, with the "lost spark" system, each spark plug fires 3 times per crank revolution, i.e. coil plug leads can be changed over and it still functions correctly.
