Hi all,

I'm redoing the barrel connector plug on the main harness that plugs into the engine harness, the pig tail I purchased I was able to match up all the wires from the original boat harness aside from one that I want to be sure before it's reconnected. The new barrel pig tail has a brown/white tracer wire while my main boat harness has a purple/white tracer wire that ran to the barrel connector. There was only one purple for the ignition on the new pigtail, while my old one had a purple and a purple/white connector. I am also not sure if it was added in or not but the purple ignition wire also has another wire going off of it which I am not sure whether that one was added in as well as two other wires, one being a yellow wire and another being a red (+) wire.

The last owner did hard wire the blower with 2 wires which I ended up finding the original connectors that were used and fixed that. The yellow and red wires run in the back side of the engine.

5.7 GXI and DPSM with Kohler 5E Generator and Water Heater. It's also equipped with a fireboy extinguisher.

I found the owners manual on Four Winns website. Page 252 shows the schematic... Am I seeing it correctly that the purple wire lead goes also to the Fireboy Extinguisher Indicator?

Here's the website 258/278 Vista Owners Manual
