Greetings. Recently picked up a 1988, 125hp, Force on a junk Bayliner. The ignition switch was missing. It's a remote ignition on the dash. I picked up a new ignition switch but could use some help as to where the wires go. I checked several sites but didn't come up with an answer. All of the wires seem to be present. Their colors are, green, red, blue, yellow, purple, black, and 3 whites. Help is greatly appreciated.

Check out Mastertech Marine (maxrules.com) they have wiring diagram.
Look at technical specification-common wiring diagram and then Chrysler Force diagram.
Your colors do not follow the OEM colors.

Red-hot 12VDC from battery
Green-choke
Yellow-start
Blue- stop to ground
White (2)-stop to CD module (one to each module)
Purple-suppose to be for tachometer
Black-negative from battery for auxiliary use
White (third one)- do not know what it is for, maybe a spare wire.

Thanks much! I'll give it a try tomorrow.
