A few questions on a new to me 2020 Mustang GT

10 speed automatic transmission, just got it, one owner, 30,000 miles, full warranty, staggered and dropped with Carol Shelby wheels and suspension quad exhaust very fast 460 hp. At least I just got a check engine light yesterday when I put my foot into it, I don’t have a code to read yet. It seems to run fine, though it actually went off and then back on After I started it up again I think also as I’m running 20 inch car Shelby wheels staggered. Should I be running the same air pressure as the door sticker said, it originally came with 18 inch wheels thanks so much you guys!

Could always try a chalk test. Still will get you in the ball park, though I doubt you'll be far off factory pressure on the tires.

The CEL, if I were a betting man, may be exhaust related. I've seen newer vehicles be very very picky with exhaust mods....

I'm envious. I've owned 8 Mustangs in my life and I'd love to have one now, but they just don't fit my current life.

My stepson was always infatuated with speed and wanted a Lamborghini.
He even talked about adding a turbo to his 2003 Ranger 3.0L 5-speed.

So, a couple years ago, I took him for a test ride in a 2019 Mustang GT with "a few" mods to educate him. It was right around 500HP.

It absolutely terrified the boy. Lesson learned!
On the way home from the ride, he said he changed his mind and wanted a Rolls with a chauffeur.

Don't know about 20's but page 192 of the owners manual list
34psi for 235/45R18 = 212.9cm
37psi for 235/40R19 = 210.6cm

A 235/35R20 = 211.1cm

One of my vehicles comes standard with 18” wheels but jumps to 20” in top trim package.

My door sticker (20”) says 34 psi. Owners manuals says 36 psi for 18 wheels.

That said, the difference in ride quality between the two sizes is profound. Not sure the 20” tires are an upgrade or down grade.

Had a charger scat pak. Was 485 HP off the showroom floor. loved that car and thought it was fast till my son took me for a ride in his GTR. That thing shouldn’t even be street legal.

cleared the p0300(?) codes (4 random misfire)) was running fine, just hauled ass in it fine, not sure if it was filled up w/ 93, gtg some b12 chemtool today, used for years love it

came with and has Ford quad exhaust, says Ford on tips, is LOUD
