I've got 2.5 years and I can start drawing ss. My handyman work now is getting more limited with the rate my body is failing (and my desire to not work) so my cash money revenue stream will become wood working. Had my first shop class in 7th grade back in the 70s....

I can do some odd stuff but that would be a double hard no.

I see stuff online where they make sh.t just because they can. This is one of those.

My first ever Rundstykker. Danish breakfast rolls. I have family there and I love the food so learning how to cook it, plus places to order the meats from.

Think I did ok, not too light not too dense. My track record on baked goods is sketchy at best but I think I did these right.

.

Look good to me , how do you have them ? I always blame the oven when baking flops ...... which doesnt work because I spent 20 years fixing ovens .... so it still my fault :D

Any way you want, typically room temp. They are similar to smørrebrød in function just a completely different style of bread. smørrebrød is typically a weekday iem this is typically a weekend or holiday item.

You can use pretty much h anything to top, savory items get a layer of soft butter then meats, cheeses, shrimps, veggies etc. Same with smørrebrød but this being a weekend item typically gets the sweet treatment. Blackberry and fig are my two favorites, wife like lingonberry but damn expensive.

My family was here for the 4th and they brought something i can only find to import so frighteningly expensive and can melt along the way.... it is a chocolate wafer that after the butter you place on top and eat. Odd sounding I know but very common. Imagine a Hershey bar thin as a quarter, maybe a nickel. Good 'rememberies' of my frequent visits as a kid when mom was still alive.

As far as the pics, rewind a decade or two and use old school hot linking. Upload pic to your Facebook or a third party like imgur or Google photos, take the direct link to the Pic and wrap in old school code . No spaces. Type in (img)thenthepiclinkhere(/img) HOWEVER replace all ( ) with [ ]. If i type I with the correct brackets it dissapears and you will not see it.

Sure will be glad when they get it fixed here, lots easier.

I bet they are very tasty. Anything that involves fresh bread is delicious in my eyes.

i'm going to try this tomorrow night

Well that was a bust.

This was not. 4 apples (man they are expensive). A single frozen pie crust. Allspice and brown sugar. White sugar on the top crust. So easy takes 15 or so min to prep 30 to bake. Popped it in when we were ready to eat our sloppy dads and tots so ready after I got the supper dishes put up.
