My grandfather told me the dark spots on the moon were from a little Indian boy throwing mud on it. That was 55 years ago give or take a I still remember it like it was yesterday but I would have to think real hard about what I did last week.

You did ask which Countries Flags were on the Moon. Not our Problem if you didn't get the Answer(s) you wanted

A pic I took late this morning on a windy, rainy day through a rainy window some 70 feet away, of the male Eastern Bluebird on his favorite limb overlooking "His Domain." He and his lady are nesting in our new box at its new location, planted per bluebird specs. :D

Great pic. We have tried to attract bluebirds here with not much luck though we seem to have every bird under the sun. They are in the area, I’ve seen small flocks of them at my friends farm down the road a bit.

I learned that they're very particular about their housing requirements. They want the bluebird house mounted 6 to 8 feet above the ground, facing southeast. And they prefer that it look over a field or open ground. They also need water nearby and we keep plenty of water dishes out front.

So, getting a new house meeting those specs on a post mounted this winter was one of my projects. I also installed a squirrel baffle. Those tree rats will kill and eat the younglings or even the parents if given a chance. I saw that happen on my old birdhouse which was mounted on a large pine tree and the squirrel was sitting on top of the house.

This is my new setup.

I found a couple pix from 2014 showing how much the birds love a good water feature. This feature was set up in our front tree island. It eventually rusted through and was trashed. :sneaky:

Renovating that tree island has been a major project over the winter and is still ongoing. My wife has a bunch of smaller water dishes out there now, but we're planning on putting a much larger one out there as a centerpiece when renovations are complete.
