Seahorse, I have motor all apart ready to pull block from middle section. I have a hoist attached to top crank lift ring, all 6 bolts from bottom removed, even small bolts from adapter plate. I can lift whole outboard, pry with crowbars, shake it, jerk it, and whatever it takes. I cannot get it loose. Am i missing anything ?

Is there something holding driveshaft ? I have 1/2" clearance all the way around , but the driveshaft is the one holding together.
I am afraid putting more lift (2 5feet bars on each side + hoist). I don't want to use heat since there is too much plastic and gasoline around the area.

What the...Ficht I have to do to get it loose. I can't believe a 1998 freshwater can be stuck this bad.

Val

PS: in case you forgot, 1998 Johnson 150 FICHT Ocean Runner.
