It was the bad fuel pump relay. $ 10 part cost me $ 1000.
But it was a good education in trouble shooting without a shop manual, multi meter or my tool assortment back home. Unplugging devices to isolate relays, pumps etcc was very helpful.
What saved me was the fact that fuse block hand...
Did you try unplugging the two pumps and then switch ign key on? Did heat go away after having them eliminated from load.
I assume your getting this heat when engine is running? Pumps should pump up at key on and then shut off at some time or pressure threshold.
The throttle movement didn't do anything second time or thereafter.
The fuel pump would not cycle up to pressure at key on at break down or any attempt thereafter.
I manipulated kill switch button and that casued guages to fire up and a relay in fuse block to click.
Pretty sure its a bad...

They can be fragile due to impact during docking etc.. My boat had one on it when purchased used. Finally pulled it off to reveal nice gel coat in good condition.
Thanks for update.

It ran through my mine cracked block when reading first posts but thought maybe not since you mentioned winterized
So many posters never follow-up and update.
Read through most of the thread. Looks really good. Better built that when it left the factory.
I could never find the drive to do this but my hats off to you for seeing it through.
