i just aquired an older mercury outboard motor and am interesting in reviving it. i ran the serial number thats on the motor and i came up with nothing.

225 hp v6....can anybody tell me what model # or year or something to get me started.

i have an early 80's mercury 50 hp with a slightly bent prop...i need to get a new one but there are no identification numbers on it and the prop looks too small for the motor.
anybody know whats supposed to be on there?
