    Ex brother in law did the same thing. I had an extra tag so we just tagged it. They both laid right on top of each other. He said he didn’t see the 2nd deer standing behind the other one till he walked up and there they were!

    Hot water heater

    That valve on the cold line is a bypass for winterizing. Perhaps it’s broken internally. In the position it’s in now, it should work normally. When winterizing you turn the valve so it bypasses the heater as you do not want to fill the heater with anti freeze, you simply drain the heater.

    I think if you do the bypass of the hoses would be a good test of what’s going on. If it doesn’t get hot when bypassed you narrowed it down to an issue with a check valve or heating coil. You could pressurize the hoses separately from the system and see if it leaks down.

    The heat exchanger will still leak out so it will empty the water tank. Unless you cap the hoses or plug them.

    That’s normal, it has to move for the power steering. Have you checked the steering pin for play at the top of the gimble housing? or are you getting the normal bow wander at slow speed?
