    2005 crestliner pro angler 1650 50hp tldi nissan. Have a 11 pitch wot about 5200, at 25 mph, also have a 13 pitch wot 4800 rpm 29 mph. These are figures with two people in the boat, add two more adults and can't get on plane with the 13 pitch. It seems perhaps I should get a 12 pitch? or...

    What torque for my prop?

    Thanks, I have two props that look identical, on muffs one sounds horrible in gear while the other sound fine. In the past on other boats I simple would hand tighten the nut the then tighten until the next place to install the couter pin, why would some say 25lbs and other sites hand tighten?

    What torque for my prop?

    2005 Nissan 50 hp 2 stroke TLDI Some say don't torque the prop and others say 25 to 30 lbs. Manual states to securely tighten? (what does that mean?) I didn't torque my prop and had a bit of prop chatter? engine is new to me. Thanks.

    The reason I'm not changing the impeller at this time is because this boat was dropped off at my home asking if I wanted to buy it so I wanted to give it a short test on the water first.

    spray from tail of boat

    2003 four wins freedom fish and ski with a 5.0 and volvo out drive, runs fantastic but I noticed coming from the outdrive area there is a spray that rises about one to two foot, can't tell where it's coming from because of the large swim deck, is this normal?
