    I think these plugs are hard to read vs normal plugs. But what's the problem with the engine? Could it be that number 3 have been hotter allowing for the carbon to stick? Guess you'll have to wait for the experts to chime inn.

    Got the trumpets welded as best I could and just needs a little bit more on making them look good. Now I'm waiting for the last bits to arrive so I can continue with the idea. The lower leg turned out great I think.

    More problems found and fixed. Turned out the lever under the carbs had significant play in it because the alu lever got worn against the SS shaft.     A bicycle pump would be a great idea and that way you can safely increase pressure to around 10 psi and see if it leaks. Be careful not to blow your seals! Maybe get one of those refill kits for gear oil and use that adapter for the thread.
