    Bimini top height?

    I am looking at bimini tops and I see that many are listed as 46 inch in height. I am guessing that they mean the tube is 46 inches. Has anyone installed one of these? I am wondering if the 46 inch model will be tall enough to stand under when it is mounted on my gunnel ( 28" above the floor )...

    Outboard mounting bolt pattern?

    I have read that outboard mounting bolt patterns where standardized in the early 1980s. Is this true? Will 2 different manufactures outboards of the same hp and shaft length match up to the holes already in my transom? Also is there a published template of the standard pattern/s? Thanks

    steering a outboard on a bracket?

    When outboards are mounted on a armstrong type bracket can they still use a cable steering system or do they have to go hydraulic steering? Say a 150hp outboard on a 30 inch setback? Thanks

    Starcraft serial numbers?

    Is there a reference to what the serial numbers mean? As an example STRG31010381 - A1. I am thinking that it means that it was built in 1981? STR = Starcraft? G = ? The eight digit number the serial number? The A1 = ??? Anyone have any ideas?

    Holiday 21 - 22 V5 years?

    What years where the Holiday V5 21-22 footers produced? I am looking at one that has the full 5 strakes and a OMC i/0 the owner thinks it is a 1981 or 1982. It is a large boat, it looks large when my full size pickup is parked next to it.
