Hello I have 1989 Mercedes 5.7 when looking at the transom the top right plate has about4 inch ground wire all metal.id like to know where the other end screws into into for the grounding. I can’t Seem to find any screw holes
I have. 1989 wellcraft. Replaced the transom completely. When I cut the hole for the gimbal housing and then I drilled the holes to mount it. When I sanded the inside edges for the hole one my my holes doesn’t have a lot of space on the hole. Will one hole hurt a little if not completely round...
Ok here is a pic for the crusader carb. Yes it is a NOS carb. On the bottom right is a vacuum hook up and mine doesn’t have that. Does anyone know where I can hook that up or just plug it..
I have a 1989 mercruiser 5.7 with carb 17080561. I see a carb 17082403 for a crusader. Is there a difference inside for tuning or will that not work at all on my engine and find another same number it get theirs rebuilt. To rebuild is more than a new one from that crusader
Have 23’ wellcraft coastal I/o. Can I lay 6 layers of 1708 for my 1//4 inch or should I switch cloth between layers if so what kind. Redoing my whole inside transom
Ok so I’m almost there I know I need about 6 layers of 1708 for my 1/4 “ l fiberglass. Can I do all of the transom first or I’m I better to lay one or two rows all the way around the transom and stringers so I don’t have a large sectin of 6 layers underneath the next section.
