    There is local shop here in Calgary Automarine. Unfortunately they don't accept any outboard before 2010. There might be solo mechanic on kijiji or facebook but they are charging more than the shop. Might sell this AS IS.

    Its get started now without choke but still keep shutting down after few minutes. Upper shaft get hot and white smoke is coming from the exhaust. I still need to pump the bulb while tank is upper than engine to keep it running. Also I don't see any air pulsing feels when put finger on the port...

    I don't have marine battery but the car battery. I can just touch +ve and -ve it will start?

    Thanks. I did put up above the engine still the same issue. Will try to test engine pulse port next. Spark plugs are little black when I pulled them out.

    Blow test pass. Everything looks so clean in and out. Don't know what to do. I did pump 4 times. Only start in choke fully out. But shut down right after even choke is pulled. Not even start without choke pulled out.

    Changed the bulb. Still doing the same thing puttering and shut down. If choke open it runs little longer.

    I will change the bulb and retry. If it doesnot work than will again reassemble it. Didn't do the blow test once done but fuel is coming from pump exit when I press the bulb. Thanks

    Fuel pump was clean and looks new, so does the carb. I don't know who design those clamps that broke my nails. Simple zip tie do the job. Here are the pics for fuel pump. Thanks

    Hand pump help. One strange this happening when I unplug hose that goes from fuel pump to the carb; After I pump the primer bulb and stop pumping, all the fuel is going back to the tank. May be culprit is the check valve in the bulb. Will buy the bulb. Can used the same hose or replaced it with...

    I cleaned the fuel pump diaphragm and filter. Now it only start with choke and dies down immediately. :-(
