    so I have the new kit , and taken the lower end off . the inpeller on the new kit is smaller , and the housing is plastick I have read this is the update so my ??? is there is a metal housing in the kit that fits into the plastic housing . I asume I need to use it in all applications...

    been busy on the project , So I decided to fix her with layers of A grade plywood . So do I install them 1 at a time with glass between the wood and finnished with 2 layers off mat ??     removing rub strip , older double eagle??

    Doing the transom on my 16 ft Double Eagle . all the reading I have read says simply pull out rub strip ... This seems impossibe . Is the strip just rusted in or do I have to remove inner bolst before the strip ????<br /><br />hope this makes sence

    I am looking to bypass the kill switch on my 84 50hrs johnson ...opened the controls and found three wires to the switch black = ground , purple and grey .. is this as simple as attatching the purple and grey ?????? <br /><br />BTW the isue I have is the motor will run great when the kill switch...

    84 johnon 50hp , lower end

    looking to change the bottom end seals in my johnson, prop is off , removed two 8 mil bolts from down inside , Do I have to thread out the assy or is it a press in and out ?? There are threads in the housing so I asume it threads out . Should I try heat ? AM I missing a bolt or two ...
