    Maximum Pressure

I am trying to find a leak in my cooling system. Have removed the H/E and is fine. I have rigged up a set up applying pressure to the big hose going to the circ pump and plugged up the return hoses from the manifolds to the H/E. I'm using a cheap 12V pump.......hard to regulate pressure. How...

    Stuck Outdrive

Was going out today, heard the engine RPM's change when getting on plane. Backed-off right away. Tried again and it sounded like I spun the prop, engine rev'd high. Make a long story short, drive goes into gear, prop doesn't turn. Open the engine hatch and find gear oil reservoir overflowed with...

Prop: To paint or not to paint

I keep my boat in a salt water slip ~6mos/yr. Last year is the 1st year I saw any growth on the pro. It's an I/O so the prop is always in the water. I put on ~60-80hrs/year. Any thoughts on antifouling paint on the prop?

    Lower Shift Cable Adjustment

I know the adjustment is 6" between the center of the barrel to the center of the hole at the tip when fully pressed in (fwd. gear). After I made the adjustment and looked at the shift slide it appeared to be sticking out too much. I left it for now. Question: does this adjustment need to...

    Wiring Question

I have a '84 Grady White Offshore 241. (Mercruiser I/O) I am in the process of replacing the fuse panel. My question is regarding the fuse panel. I can't see where the wire to power the ignition switch is coming from. There looks like a 20A fuse under the dash located near the key...

    Lower Shift Cable Replacement

I am going to be replacing the lower shift cable on my boat this year. First time attempting this project. I believe it's an MR1(?) drive (lower has the pin on the drive shaft). Is it recommended to replace the upper shift lever also?

Separated the drive to replace the water pump (entire kit), I do this every other year The engine is FWC'd w/ a engine mounted raw water pump so the water pump is only cooling the drive. Easy Shift

Is easy shift something that can be added to a system w/o it? Not even really sure what easy shift is.......I'm assuming it's some kind of an assist in shifting into gear.
