    Having electrical problems.....

    First off when I put the key in ignition and turn it "on" the warning buzzer goes off with a constant buzzzzzzzzzzzz. At the same time I have seen smoke come from around the starter (can't exactly see where). When I try to start the motor, the starter won't engage. Anyone have any ideas?

    Shift rod adjustment on 1985 Johnson 90HP
