    Uhh, I don't know about that, at least for me, I'm having a heck of a time trying to diagnose a spark issue, 1st, intermittent spark, then spark on port side only, then no spark at all. New stator, used but supposedly good timer base off ebay, new power pack, then switch back to old power pack...

    50hp mercury hard to start even when warm

    I have a 2003 50Hp Mercury that is hard to start even after it's warmed up, it won't start by just turning the key, I usually have to move the throttle to about 1/4 to 1/2 throttle just like it's the first cold start of the day.

    Testing 200hp Johnson stator

    I'm suspecting the stator is bad, when the battery is connected the battery will drain very quickly and when I felt up under the flywheel the stator was burning hot to the touch, I have the stator off the motor and need to know how to check it. It's a 1995 Johnson Venom 200 hp. Thanks

    thru hull transducer

    I'm going to mount a humminbird 153 Piranha fish finder on my pontoon boat, will the transducer work thru the aluminum mounting bracket on the back of the pontoon? i was going to epoxy it to the bracket to keep it more protected than being mounted underneath it. Thanks
