    will a johnson parts motor be ok for evinrude?

    i have a 1971 9.5 evinrude sportwin and i found a 9.5 johnson i think its a 1969 or 1970. they made both motors from 64 to 73. the evinrude runs great but im missing the choke lever and the prop is nicer on the johson. they look the same but im not going to buy the motor just for the choke...

    71 sportwin 9.5 shifting problem

    i changed the impeller and when i put it all back together the shift lever is not in the correct place.and also it sometimes skips neutral and i need to force it to have forward gear. thought i put it back correctly but im not sure what went wrong.

    wiring problem 40 hp johnson

    i have a 40 hp johnson late 70s with electric start. there is two wires one has 3 wires that goes to the coil the other has two wires. which one is the key and which one is the kill switch.
