    Vacuum Question

    After reading FreeBeeTonys' posts about bogging, I have question about vacuum readings. After the initial waver from throttling up should the vacuum reading return to 17-21# regardless if under load or not? :confused: ....J

    Alpha 1 upper drive fails pressure test

    Drained gear oil in drive and noticed a slight band of lighter color in lube. Presssure tested drive & would not hold more than 7#, Slowly drifting down to 5#. Took drive apart and bottom holds 15#. Top still @ 7,drifting to 5#. It obviously needs to be re-sealed. I doubt there was water damage...

    Has anybody found an after market paint that will stay on for a season, moored? It's going in for the season this weekend and will only come out once for maint. from now until October :cool: .I'm ready to put the zinc primer on. Any anti-fouling gunk for the drive over the paint? Thanks, Jeff

    I have a 73 searay model 888 (302 ford) FWC It overheats when over 1500 rpm. Real hot @wot. Will cool back down slowly @ 1000 rpm or less. Pump in OD is good.
